Coffee Hour
Hospitality and fellowship are an integral part of the Christian life. One of the main ways in which we share in fellowship and offer hospitality to each other at Grace Church is at "Coffee Hour", held after the 10:30 Sunday High Mass. Attending Coffee Hour is an excellent way to make friends or catch up with other parishioners, and we invite all our visitors to join us in fellowship in the parish hall after mass.

Despite the name, Coffee Hour at Grace is often an elaborate affair more similar to a full meal than mere coffee and donuts. On a typical Sunday you might expect jollof rice, chicken drumsticks, fresh bread, pasta, salads, home baked pastries, or even an entire roasted pig! Coffee Hour is sponsored each Sunday by a member of our diverse congregation, often in a manner reflecting the heritage of the sponsor. Of course, there is always coffee available as well.

A signup sheet is posted in the Parish House hallway for anyone who wishes to sponsor Coffee Hour. Although an elaborate spread is always appreciated by all, the sponsee can offer to host as simply or elaborately as they please! Donuts & bagels are a perfectly acceptable repast for a congregations who has just received the bread of life at the mass.
